Position
I specialise in high value and often complex property sales and acquisitions including freehold and leasehold residential transactions in prime and super prime central London and surrounding areas including new build premises.
I have been with Fladgate since 2018 and head up the firm’s Residential Property team.
For me, when I think of London, there is no comparison anywhere in the world in terms of a residential real estate market. The varied nature of asset class and differing types of investor makes acting on these transactions both challenging and rewarding in equal measures. No two clients or deals are the same and that keeps you on your toes.
When we help clients acquire or dispose of their central London property, you feel part of something much bigger than just conveyancing. We are helping people invest or realise their returns, often with the largest amount of money they have earned in their lives – the responsibility is vast and trust is so important. These are business transactions, albeit with real people at the forefront. The mix of both of these things is what attracted me to this area of law and navigating this well is what I hope sets me apart from your average conveyancer.
I act on behalf of many private banks and lending institutions (both on and offshore) in respect of individual loans and large scale portfolio lending. I also act for many boutique developers in respect of securing option agreements, site acquisitions, development and mezzanine funding, site set up and disposals.
