Career

Øystein Skudal is head of the firm’s Energy, Shipping & Offshore department. He specializes in renewable energy, corporate law and transactions.

Øystein has for more than 15 years worked primarily for the renewable energy industry. He has extensive experience within the regulatory framework, and has been in charge of complex assessments, reorganizations and transactions within distribution of electricity, energy trading and production of hydro, wind and district heating.

Øystein has advised in several of the larger reorganisations and transactions within the renewable energy sector during the recent years, and has been involved in both structuring of transactions based on the regulatory framework and drafting and negotiation of transaction agreements. He has extensive experience from several national and international co-operation projects, and is experienced in establishment of joint ventures and drafting of co-operation agreements for development and implementation of new technology.
