Dougall specialises in structured finance, debt capital markets and transactions in the commodities sector.
He advises on commodity prepayment transactions and other commodity financings in a range of jurisdictions. His clients include Trafigura, Traxys Europe and VTB Capital.
Based in Paris for many years prior to moving to London, he continues to focus on developments in the French market and works closely with our Paris office.
Work highlights this year include advising Traxys as offtaker in connection with a US$55 million loan facility provided by ING Bank to Hellyer Gold Mines; and an international commodity trading company on a US$30 million prepayment facility for a South East Asian industrial minerals producer.
