Career
Adina Damaschin is a counsel at Schoenherr și Asociații SCA and a key member of the firm’s banking & finance practice. She advises on banking, finance, debt restructuring and refinancing, acquisition and disposition of distressed assets and loan portfolios, as well as on financial services regulatory matters. Adina gained a wealth of experience coordinating the Romanian law advice in a variety of local and cross-border finance/refinance transactions (including project finance, acquisition finance and real estate finance). She advises lenders as well as borrowers in bank or direct lending projects on contractual and security structures, negotiating LMAs or local market standard facilities. She has also assisted on a series of M&A transactions in the financial services market, as well as on most of the largest NPL portfolio sales in Romania (providing sell- as well as buy-side advice) and on the implementation of complex loan servicing structures. Adina’s expertise also covers concessions/PPP and public procurement.
