Klara Kiehl specialises in civil and criminal litigation as well as compliance. Klara works in the area of dispute resolution specialising in financial services litigation, particularly representing banks in court proceedings as well as product liability and warranty disputes. Further, Klara has had a strong focus on criminal law and criminal compliance. Klara advises and defends institutional and individual clients in a wide range of criminal matters, including claims of fraud, anti-corruption law violations and breach of trust. Also, Klara has designed and implemented internal compliance programmes, established search warrant response plans and conducted internal investigations. Before joining Schoenherr in 2010, she worked in the dispute resolution practice group of a large international law firm. During her studies Klara worked as a trainee in international law firms and did an internship at a US criminal court.
