Career

Philippe François heads up the Employment group. Prior to specialising in employment law, Philippe had a general corporate and M&A practice.

Philippe has experience in all areas of employment law, including litigation, and focuses, in particular, on restructurings, the transfer of undertakings, outsourcing and employee consultation requirements.

Philippe has represented clients such as NorthgateArinso, AstraZeneca, Unilever, Hoverspeed, FedEx, Zenitel, Medtronic, VLM, Jet Airways and GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, amongst others, in a wide variety of transactions and court cases.

He joined NautaDutilh in 1994 and was named a partner in 2002.

Member of the Brussels Bar. Philippe is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association and has lectured and published on various topics in the field of employment law. He is also the co-founder and a board member of the Vereniging voor sociaal recht.

Education

Philippe received his law degree from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 1991.
