Career

Christophe Wathion focusses on Benelux and international mergers and acquisitions for both financial investors and corporate clients.

He has a thorough knowledge of corporate and commercial law and provides professional and business oriented legal advice in all matters of Belgian corporate and commercial law. He has assisted numerous Belgian and international clients in the setting-up, (re)structuring and handling of their corporate organization and commercial activities.

Christophe is also a passionate litigator and advises clients on a wide range of litigious matters, including national and international recovery issues, contractual and commercial disputes.

He graduated in 2008 from the KU Leuven (KUL). In 2009, he obtained an additional Master International and European Law from the VUB (magna cum laude). As a working student, he obtained an additional Master of Laws (LL.M) in Company Law at the KUL in 2014 (cum laude). Christophe has been admitted to the Brussels Bar since September 2009.
