Giovanni joined ISOLAS in October 2020 and is currently working alongside Partner Steven Caetano as part of his gaming and regulatory practice.

Giovanni graduated from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle with an LLB law degree in 2016, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2017.

Following his admission to the Bar, he attended the University of Leeds, where he graduated with an LLM Master of Laws in International Banking and Finance Law, attaining the grade of Distinction. He also holds LLM Master of Laws in International Trade Law, graduating with Distinction.

Giovanni also undertook the Gibraltar Professional Skills and Conduct course at both the University of the West of England in Bristol and the University of Gibraltar, where he also undertook the Professional Certificate of Competence in Gibraltar Law.

Giovanni has previously been involved in a wide range of contentious matters and has particular experience in the areas of commercial, property, private client and gaming.

Further, in 2021, Giovanni undertook a three-month secondment BV Gaming Limited (formerly known as “BetVictor”) discharging an interim General Counsel function and formed part of their legal team based in Gibraltar.  During this time Giovanni worked on all legal aspects of the businesses to further develop his expertise within the gaming sector, which included but was not limited to corporate structuring; intellectual property rights; licensing requirements and pre-action litigation work.
