Didier G. Martin, partner since 1999, specialises in mergers and acquisitions, securities law and private equity. He mainly works on mergers and acquisitions with a focus on listed companies, frequently advising on cross-border transactions. He has extensive experience advising in takeover bids and private investments in public equity. He also handles disputes, in particular in the field of market abuse. He recently advised AccorHotels on the sale of 57.8% of the capital of AccorInvest. Other assignments include advising Unibail-Rodamco on the transfer to Wereldhave of a portfolio of companies holding shopping malls, Econocom on the exchange offer on Osiatis, Tikehau on the take over of Salvepar, Silic for its combination with Icade by way of a share exchange, MSREF on the sale of its holding in Compagnie la Lucette to Icade, the Belgian state within the framework of the BNP Paribas/Fortis transaction, Grupo Planeta on the acquisition of Editis, PAI Partners on the acquisition of French listed real estate developer Kaufman & Broad, the French state on the privatisation of French listed motorways companies (ASF, APRR and Sanef), and Novartis during the offer by Sanofi on Aventis.
