Career

Iván Blume is an expert in labor law and data protection, advising national and international companies. He has handled many advisory services focusing on labor, compliance, migration issues, lawsuits and inspections.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked at different local and international law firms, where he advised on labor matters and transactions, as well as advising Latin American companies on data protection.

He is a member of Sociedad Peruana de Derecho del Trabajo y de la Seguridad Social (Peruvian association promoting and disseminating labor law and social security law) and of the Callao Bar Association, as well as a member of the panel of experts of The Law Reviews (labor and migration matters) and One Trust Data Guidance (data protection).

He lectures on master’s degree programs at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas and ESAN.

He is the author of a book on equal pay and has published law articles in several specialized journals and other print media.
