Dorte Kirkeskov Carlsson specialises in environmental and planning law and public law and advises both public authorities and public companies as well as private companies in all areas of environmental and planning law.

Dorte has experience in advising on large infrastructure projects, including renewable energy projects, where she advises on legal issues concerning environmental assessments, both strategic environmental assessments and environmental assessments of specific projects (EIA), and in relation to nature and species protection.

In addition, Dorte has experience in pollution cases and has particular experience with PFAS pollution.

Dorte also has experience with regulation within ESG and sustainability, especially with biodiversity and circular economy. Among other things, she has worked with the regulation of producer responsibility schemes, and as a lawyer, she has also advised private companies and organisations subject to producer responsibility obligations.
