Jens has over the past 20 years first and foremost worked with reforms of regulatory frameworks and the regulation of renewable energy companies through the Norwegian Energy Act and underlying regulations and license terms.
Jens also advises on the regulatory regime for hydropower and acts for clients in appraisal and expropriation matters before the courts. He has extensive energy sector litigation experience, i.a. from several high-profile wind power matters and legal actions regarding the validity of licences and other decisions from regulatory authorities.
In addition, he provides strategic advice pertaining to mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring within the renewables sector.
