Supply chain recovery in Covid-19 times: effective use of economy stimulus and pandemic laws and business agreements to plan for now and tomorrow

Overview

Actions taken now to mitigate impacts on supply chains from coronavirus can build resilience against future shocks. Businesses must respond on multiple fronts at once: at the same time that they work to protect their workers’ safety, they must also safeguard their operational viability, now increasingly under strain from a historic supply-chain shock. Plans must be prepared, medium and long term, to control risks with remedial and loss minimisation strategies. This webinar will focus on specific agreements with business partners along the supply chain and use of domestic statutory regulations made to mitigate the imminent adverse economic and financial effects of the crisis to effectively achieve such ends. Comparisons will be made between different jurisdictions and regulatory approaches as well as how to rationalise them from manufacture to delivery along the supply chain.
