Position

Edoardo Galeotti is a managing counsel in our Milan office and a member of the global Banking and Finance practice.

He advises clients such as leading domestic and international banks, financial institutions, private equity funds, private debt funds and corporations (also listed) in matters relating to, mainly, acquisition and leveraged finance, corporate and syndicated lending and real estate finance. He focuses, in particular, in complex domestic and cross-border leverage buy-out transactions involving banks and financial institutions.

In addition, he advises clients (both financial institutions and companies) in matters relating to distressed situations and debt restructuring processes, turnaround and special situations investments, corporate reorganization plans, debt restructuring agreements, compositions of debts with creditors (in/out of court), financing of distressed target companies. He focuses, in particular, in debt restructuring agreements pursuant to art. 182-bis of Italian Bankruptcy Law (“accordi di ristrutturazione dei debiti”), recovery plans pursuant to art. 67, co. 3, lett. d) of Italian Bankruptcy Law (“piani attestati di risanamento”) and compositions of debts with creditors (“concordati preventivi”), both dismissive and with going concern.
