Career

Daniel Malatesta has over 10 years of experience in corporate law and complex negotiations, with a focus on M&A, venture capital and private equity.

His track record includes deals in diverse sectors such as IT, agribusiness, retail, mining, energy, telecommunication, construction, healthcare, machinery, fintechs, proptechs, food and e-commerce.

In addition to his transactional experience, Daniel represents both emerging growth companies and investors throughout a company’s life cycle, as well as large Brazilian corporations on corporate governance matters.

After earning his Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) at the University of Chicago, Daniel was admitted to practice law in New York and worked as an international associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP between 2018 and 2019. During this time, Daniel worked with clients such as SoftBank, EQT Partners, The Boeing Company and Blue Water Worldwide.
