Edouard Fortunet co-leads the Firm’s global brand protection & enforcement group.

On the litigation front, he has focused on high-stakes copyright, trademark, design, and unfair competition litigation leading matters for national and international clients before French and EU Courts. In addition to trying cases, Edouard advises clients on brand strategies worldwide and covers the full spectrum from the creation, protection, and enhancement to the enforcement of IP rights.

In the transactional area, Edouard is an experienced intellectual property lawyer. He has been involved in the IP aspects of numerous IPOs and several complex French and international M&A transactions over the past decade. He routinely carries out multijurisdictional projects and works closely with clients to successfully design, structure, and implement technology and commercial transactions to achieve high-stakes business objectives.

Edouard has solid experience in assisting businesses in a variety of sectors that includes tech, energy, life sciences, entertainment, and retail.

Edouard is Vice-President of APRAM (Association of Trade Mark and Design Law Practitioners) and member of INTA (International Trademark Association), AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), and AIDV (International Wine Law Association).
