Position
Mr. Hezi Kattan is a partner in our Infrastructure, Project Finance & Energy practice.
Mr. Kattan has more than two decades of unique managerial and legal experience in accompanying corporations and complex transactions, especially in the fields of infrastructure, energy, real estate, and financing. He gained experience in his many years serving, among other duties, as the general counsel in global companies, traded in Israel and abroad, and operating mainly in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and real estate.
Among his many roles, Mr. Kattan served as the General Counsel of Shikun & Binui (2006-2017) and of Ormat Technologies (2018-2021).
As part of his diverse roles, he has led extensive legal activity, in Israel and abroad. Among other activities, Mr. Kattan coordinated the legal aspects of mega infrastructure projects, renewable energy (including solar and geothermal projects) and transportation; mega-scale financing transactions; tenders in Israel and around the world; development of projects and mergers and acquisitions. He also guided the legal work of joint ventures and partnerships in connection with local and international companies for the development of infrastructure projects.
Mr. Kattan has unique experience in leading legal teams and managing all legal aspects related to the activities of large-scale companies traded in Israel and around the world, including in the fields of corporate law; financing; securities law; IPOs and listing for trade; and more.
He holds a Bachelor of Law from Tel Aviv University and a Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Tel Aviv University.
