Åke is a veteran business law practitioner. He has a longstanding and active practice spanning more than 35 years.

Åke focuses his practice on both domestic Swedish as well as foreign clients, and both public authorities as well as major private companies on a broad range of complex legal issues. His work is characterised by its primary focus on the financial sector, and his matters often involve international connections.

Åke’s main areas of practice are finance law and arbitration. He also has substantial experience of insurance and reinsurance law. Åke has one of the longest-running and continuous practice legacies in the market within these significant and complex areas of law. His cross-border, and international work is notable in that a significant number of his matters involve the USA. Åke is adept in presenting matters internationally in court proceedings as well as in project financing transactions. On several occasions he has been rated as one of the overall  top ten business lawyers in Sweden.
