Position
Equity Partner. Paolo Montironi is one of the Founding Partners of Nctm and he dedicates his time to advising his clients; a focus he has never lost even when serving as managing partner for the firm. He has extensive expertise in all aspects of mergers & acquisitions, private equity and restructuring, including representing multinational companies in public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; and working closely with private equity firms. He has been listed by Chambers Europe as a Leading Individual for M&A, and Private Equity and ranked as Top Tier 1 for Private Equity. He is consistently involved in major acquisitions and privatisations, both domestically and internationally. In particular, he has handled a large number of leveraged buyouts on behalf of Italian and foreign private equity firms, such as Oaktree Capital, Pillarstone (KKR), Bridgepoint Capital, Clessidra, Barclays Private Equity, Investcorp, Rhone Capital, L Capital and Opera Private Equity. Mr. Montironi has also managed many complex restructuring activities such as Maire Technimont, Navigazione Montanari, Premuda, Limoni e La Gardenia, Nectar.
He is Senior Partner and member of the Board at Nctm.

Nctm Studio Legale is experienced in the small and medium-sized enterprises market; the practice also advises large and international clients on cross-border matters. Vittorio Noseda advised Electrolux Italia on the acquisition of Best, an Italian manufacturer of innovative kitchen hoods, from the US group Broan-Nutone. The practice also advised Snam on the acquisition of Infrastructure Trasporto Gas as well as the purchase of 7.3 per cent of Terminale GNL Adriatico (Italy’s largest offshore platform for storage and regasification of natural gas) from Edison. Simone De Carli is M&A and private equity head and Sante Ricci is corporate and commercial head. The other key advisers are Paolo Montironi, Alberto Toffoletto, Matteo Trapani and Pietro Zanoni.
