According to news on the website of SAIC on 6 November 2015, Inner Mongolia AIC, authorized by the SAIC, initiated investigation towards China Unicom (Inner Mongolia Branch) upon complaints by users regarding issues of "tie‐in sale in broadband surfing". During the investigation, China Unicom (Inner Mongolia Branch) committed to take corrective measures and to eliminate adverse effects, and applied for suspension of investigation. Finally, Inner Mongolia AIC suspended the investigation on China Unicom (Inner Mongolia Branch) on 28 October 2015.
