A chancery practitioner undertaking work in the areas of real property, insolvency and commercial disputes.

Career

Rosamund has built a busy and diverse practice since becoming a tenant in 2017. She continues to conduct cases as both sole and junior counsel and accepts instructions across Selborne’s core practice areas. Regularly appearing in the High Court, County Court and First-Tier Tribunal as well as providing drafting and advisory services, the focus of her work is property, insolvency, trusts and estates and commercial disputes. Rosamund also has experience being instructed as a Junior Junior under the Attorney General’s Panel scheme, including in relation to the Cyprus Colonial Group Litigation.

Developing her practice in commercial chancery litigation, Rosamund was a Judicial Assistant in the Chancery Division during Trinity Term 2020 (assigned primarily to Mr Justice Birss and Mr Justice Nugee) and she spent three months working in the litigation team at Bell Gully in New Zealand as a Pegasus Scholar in late 2018.

With a background as a talented scholar, Rosamund has a First in Jurisprudence from St Edmund Hall, University of Oxford and achieved a grade of Outstanding on the BPTC. In 2015, she completed the Bachelor of Civil Law at Oxford and was awarded the prize in Commercial Remedies.
