Position

Saiqa is a specialist children law barrister, and skilled practitioner in all aspects of family law.

Saiqa regularly accepts instructions on behalf of local authorities, guardians and parents in both public and private law proceedings. Saiqa has a particular interest in cases involving serious injury to children, cases of serious sexual abuse and cases involving allegations of fabricated and/or induced illness (FII). Saiqa’s practice also includes cases with an international element, involving children unlawfully removed from the jurisdiction.  Notable cases include:
