Ann Courtney
Position
Ann undertakes work in all areas of family law especially public law for all parties, international child abduction, financial matters including claims by cohabiting partners, residence and contact disputes. Ann has 20 years litigation experience which is mainly court room based. She has conducted many cases from first appearance through to final hearing, as well as in the Court of Appeal. Ann is regularly instructed to prepare advices and pleadings.
Ann has a particular interest in non-accidental injury cases in care proceedings and mental health issues as affecting parenting capacity.
Having represented several deaf without speech clients this is a group within society whose representation Ann feels needs a special awareness and she would be very willing to assist such clients.
