Miss Menary joined chambers in November 2020 after successfully completing pupillage under the supervision of Miss Margaret Parr.

Miss Menary frequently acts for both the Local Authority and parents in public law family matters including interim removal hearings and contested final hearings. Miss Menary has experience in drafting the associated written work including opinions and threshold documents. 

Private Law
Miss Menary also regularly represents parents in private law proceedings, including applications for child arrangement orders, prohibited steps orders, non-molestation orders and occupation orders. 

Crime 

Miss Menary was supervised in the criminal seat of pupillage by Miss Sarah Holt, during which she observed a wide variety of cases including trials of historical sexual offences. 

Miss Menary now regularly acts for both prosecution and the defence across a broad spectrum of criminal matters in both the Magistrates Court and the Crown Court. Miss Menary is currently a Level 1 CPS Panel Advocate.
