Career

Call : 2001

Harry is an accomplished and directory-ranked mediator in commercial, civil and property disputes.  Described recently as “at the top of his profession”, “highly skilled” and “outstanding”, he is regularly commended by parties for his mediation style, and in particular his calming influence and capacity to challenge sensitively but robustly.  This feedback, and his high settlement rate, speak for themselves.

His mediation expertise extends across the commercial, civil and property spectrum, and he mediates for parties from a wide range of sectors, including energy, aviation, rail transport and other infrastructure, financial and legal services, real estate and construction, manufacturing, media, tourism, leisure, agriculture, education and medicine.  These include domestic and international organisations and individuals, and range from large corporates to SMEs, shareholders, directors and partners, landowners and occupiers, professionals, other organisations and public bodies.

Harry is also a barrister now practising exclusively in the property, environment and planning law sectors, acting as advocate, and in an advisory role, for owners and occupiers of land, developers, councils, regulators and other public bodies.  He has previously practiced from leading specialist London sets Landmark Chambers and Francis Taylor Building, and has appeared in a substantial number of high-profile, very high-value cases.

Harry has also been a successful entrepreneur, founding and running business in the renewable energy sector and the drinks industry.
