Julie is a Family specialist and represents parents and children in all aspects of private and public law.
Julie has been involved in trial advocacy as a solicitor since the start of her practice and transferred to the Bar in 2017. She has represented Local Authorities, parents and children since that date.
Julie also has experience in the Court of Protection where she has represented parents and the Official Solicitor.
Career
Julie qualified as a solicitor in 2002 specialising in family law, and was called to the Bar by Gray’s Inn in 2017.
As a solicitor, Julie was a member of the Family Law Panel, the Advanced Family Law Panel and the Children Panel. She represented parents and children in all aspects of private and public law.
Julie became a partner in the family department of a Leeds practice in 2012. She obtained Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) in 2011.
