Julie is a Senior Associate in the Private Client team. She specialises in advising individuals and business owners and their families in relation to succession planning, asset protection, inheritance tax mitigation, wills, trusts, executries and later life planning.
As well as being a solicitor, she is also a fully qualified chartered tax accountant and advises clients in areas of inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax.
She has a particular interest and expertise in winding up complex estates involving businesses and foreign assets and advises clients in relation to the creation of and administration of asset protection trusts.
Julie graduated from the University of Strathclyde with LLB (Hons), Dip LP.
Julie is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners and a Notary Public.
