Adam is a highly experienced advocate who has always specialised in the field of
criminal defence. He has built up an extensive practice, and is available for both
private work and legally aided matters.
Adam’s expertise and thorough preparation means that he is valued in
complicated and novel matters. He is equally able to argue persuasively a
convoluted point of law, or to cross-examine a vulnerable witness effectively.

Career

Criminal Defence:
R v R (on-going) – Death by dangerous driving.
R v J (2019) – Acquittal secured in a s18 GBH involving rival groups of the
travelling community and serious failures in the disclosure/investigation process.
R v A (2018) – Acquittal in “honour-based” kidnap/false imprisonment.
R v B (2018) – Acquittal secured in allegations of sexual offences (including rape)
against children, involving both recent and “historic” matters, and with vulnerable
witnesses.
R v B (2016) – Acquittal acting as a leading junior in a sex trafficking matter
involving numerous defendants and multiple complainants.

Fraud and Financial Crime:
R v C (2016-17) – Fraud involving impersonation of multinational investment
companies in order to purchase properties for immediate re-sale.
R v D (2017-2018) – A series of frauds and money-laundering matters which
included allegations of fraudulent conduct undertaken whilst on trial at the Old
Bailey for the original frauds.
