Jenny is a highly experienced criminal practitioner, with expertise in the most challenging and complex crime including murder, manslaughter and serious sexual offences. She is known for her particular skill in dealing with cases involving vulnerable or child witnesses or defendants. In addition, she is often counsel of choice to represent those appearing in the Crown Court for the first time, particularly in motor fatality cases.

Jenny has substantial trial experience in all areas of criminal law, both prosecuting and defending. Jenny regularly prosecutes and defends those who have been charged with the most serious of offences including rape, child sex offences and murder. She combines a sensitive approach to witnesses and clients with a robust approach in court.

Jenny has extensive experience defending motor fatality cases in the Crown Court. Such defendants often have no experience of the Criminal Justice system and they, together with their representatives, appreciate Jenny’s professional and effective advice coupled with a sensitive manner.
