3 Verulam Buildings’s Ewan McQuater QC led the team representing the BVI liquidators in Investec Trust v Glenalla Properties, an appeal to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council from the Guernsey Court of Appeal; the case concerned the Tchenguiz Discretionary Trust, which is subject Robert Tchenguiz’s long-running legal disputes with both the SFO and Grant Thornton. Meanwhile, David Quest QC represented AHAB in the AHAB v Saad Investments case.
