She has been instructed in several high profile cases including the Chief Constable of Avon & Somerset v Eckland, IOPC intervening– Case No: A2/2021/0816 – , Mills-Wood v Lancashire Constabulary (pensions/statutory interpretation – Govt intervening), Brooker v Department for Works and Pensions serial litigation; 7 consecutive claims of disability discrimination, Scotson Inquest for GMP, Vaughan v Lord & Lady Harris; equine contract case.

Career

Before joining 5 Essex Chambers, Victoria spent 20 years in industry as an Industrial relations specialist and Consultant. She has first-hand experience of the working of both public and private industry which gives her exceptional insight into employment and discipline cases. cases. Her equine experience has led to her advising Government in interpretation of European Equidae Regulations and speaking at conferences on regulatory, contract and employment matters relating to horses both in the UK and abroad.
