Oliver Kavanagh
Career
Oliver has a busy practice in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Court. He has particular expertise representing vulnerable individuals and defending children in the Youth Court. He prepares thoroughly and is regularly commended for the quality of his written work.
Oliver has defended in knife-point robberies, stabbings, frauds and trading standards investigations and frequently achieves successful outcomes in unlikely circumstances. He has also appeared in the County, Family and Administrative Courts and is comfortable dealing with proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Prior to joining chambers, Oliver worked at a boutique solicitors’ firm on large drugs conspiracies, serious sexual offences and murder cases as well as private driving matters for high-profile clients.
