Jonathan Butters is an experienced personal injury and clinical negligence practitioner. He also practices in professional negligence and regulatory professional discipline, and in the field of financial mis-selling and consumer credit litigation

Personal injury: Jonathan is instructed in all areas of personal injury work, including occupier’s and employer’s liability matters, claims against local authorities and road traffic accident disputes. He undertakes work at both fast-track and multi-track level and is instructed by both claimants and defendants. He regularly appears in court at interlocutory hearings and at trial. He advises on quantum and liability and drafts pleadings and schedules of loss. Jonathan also appears regularly at coroner’s inquests.

Consumer credit: Jonathan’s personal injury practice is complemented by his advisory and advocacy work in the field of consumer credit litigation with particular focus on claims relating to the mis-sale of payment protection insurance policies and the enforceability of consumer credit agreements.
