Position

Susan has wide ranging experience in all aspects of Public Law acting for Parents, Grandparents, Local Authorities, Official Solicitor and Guardians. She also has experience in all aspects of Private Family Law acting for both applicants and respondents.

Susan accepts instructions in injunctive proceedings, often involving serious domestic violence and abuse. She has appeared in proceedings concerning Non-Molestation, and Occupation.

Susan Healey was an active member of the Brighton business community before qualifying as a barrister in 1995. Her first degree was in psychology, a background she has found useful during her practise in family and childcare law. She has appeared extensively in both the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
