Charles Myatt
Position
Charlie Myatt prosecutes and defends in all areas of criminal law. This includes being regularly instructed in murder cases both prosecuting and defending as junior Counsel to silk and also in his own right.
His particular area of expertise is in prosecuting and defending in the full range of sexual offences both as leading Counsel and junior Counsel to silk with a particular focus on historic child sexual abuse cases. Charlie is a Grade 4 prosecutor and is on the CPS rape panel.
In addition, Charlie has been involved in prosecuting and defending in a number of high value drugs conspiracy cases and is also instructed from time to time to prosecute complex frauds for the CPS.
