Alex Maxwell-Keys handles patent work in the engineering, materials and consumer products fields.

Career

Alex joined Reddie & Grose in 2016 after graduating with a degree in Engineering Science. During his degree, Alex specialised predominantly in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics. These specialties served him well during his final university project concerning the design of a radial-inflow turbine for an organic Rankine cycle, and during his internship in a mechanical engineering team at Rolls-Royce.

Currently, Alex handles patent work in the engineering, materials and consumer products fields. This work includes drafting patent applications and prosecuting them before patent offices all over the world, as well as advising on infringement and validity issues. Alex works with multinational companies and SMEs across a wide range of technology sectors, including aerosol-generating devices, powder metallurgy, and autoinjectors.
