Jessica joined Kilburn & Strode in January 2018 as an Associate in the Life Sciences and Chemistry group having previously worked for another leading firm of patent attorneys.

Jessica is a UK and European patent attorney with extensive experience of prosecuting patent applications in a diverse range of technological areas.  She has particular experience working with chemical, biotechnological and mechanical inventions, including inventions relating to catalysts, refrigerants, petrochemicals and medical devices, in addition to a wide variety of mechanical devices.

She is also experienced in carrying out patent due diligence investigations, patent portfolio management and EPO oppositions and appeals.

Jessica graduated with an MChem in Chemistry from the University of Oxford in 2011.  In her final year, her research involved investigation into the use of 1,2-disubstituted ferrocene molecules as anion sensors.
