Career

Ben is a UK and European trade mark attorney, advising on a broad range of trade mark matters. This includes experience coordinating multinational filing and management of trade mark portfolios, as well as advising on international contentious matters. Ben practices before the UKIPO and the EUIPO, on both absolute and relative grounds of validity. He has experience drafting argument, as well as evidence collection and coordination to overcome registrability objections around the world. Ben contributes to Solicitors Journal on trade mark matters.

Ben graduated from the University of Manchester in 2013 with a first class Master’s degree in Chemistry. His research in the Organic Materials Innovation Centre (OMIC) in Manchester, investigating self-assembled monolayer organic compounds, which can be applied to a surface to use as electronic components. He now advises clientele in a range of industries, not only scientific, but luxury fashion and designer goods, industrial engineering and professional artists.
