Graham has more than 18 years’ experience in the industry and joined GJE after a successful academic research career publishing widely in the field of laser physics and photonics. He is a Partner is the IT & Engineering practice group, where his technical expertise covers a wide range of subject matter, including audio signal encoding techniques, telecommunications, intraocular lenses, semiconductor and memory devices, and photonics.

Graham works with a variety of UK and overseas clients, ranging from private inventors and start-up companies through to large multinational corporations, and is adept at adapting to their differing needs and budgets. He deals with all aspects of patent-related work, including drafting and prosecution of patent applications worldwide, and advising on validity and infringement. He has also assisted several companies during due diligence exercises for funding or acquisition. He enjoys working closely with clients to discern the IP needs of their businesses and to create value.
