Mounir Ait Belkacem has proven experience in major M&A, projects and private equity deals.

Before joining L&P Partners, Mounir worked at a large French firm in Algiers and Paris, as well as in other international law firms in Paris.

EXPERIENCE

• Advising Holcim Group in a series of acquisitions in the Algerian market and operations in Algeria.
• Advising Veon regarding the sale of a stake of its Algerian subsidiary which indirectly holds telecom and VSAT licenses.
• Advising Al Salam Bank Bahrain in a capital increase and a series of acquisitions of shares of local bank.
• Advising Sanofi in the setting up a partnership with a local player for manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
• Advising Ooredoo in the disposal of its affiliate specialized in the towers for telecom operators.
• Advising Oman Refreshment Co in the acquisition of a major stake in Algerian bottling company.
• Advising Ontex Group, a leading international group in the personal hygiene industry, in the context of the disposal of its Algerian affiliate.
• Advising Stellantis, notably, in the setting-up of a construction/assembly project of Fiat manufactured automobiles in Algeria.
• Advising Terramin in the operation of a joint-venture with Manal and the underlying mining project.
• Advising an Indonesian company in the setting up of a joint-venture in Algeria with two State-owned entities specialized in the operation of phosphate mines and manufacture of ammonia.
• Advising SKH in relation to a joint venture between Sonatrach, Sonelgaz, Mubadala and SNC Lavalin.
