Juan Pablo is a Partner in the Corporate Law practice area.

Career

He holds an MSc degree in Law and Finance from The University of Oxford. He advises clients on the full range of corporate governance matters and has been involved in several major corporate litigation cases in Colombia over the past few years. Before joining DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán, Juan Pablo served as a judge for Colombia’s Specialized Business Court, where he presided over hundreds of disputes among shareholders, corporations, D&Os, and others. He is a professor of Corporations at Universidad de Los Andes and regularly teaches corporate law at several Colombian universities at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
