Position
Andrew is the Managing Partner of Dentons’ Muscat office, and also heads Dentons’ Middle East Oil and Gas practice in addition to the Dentons Muscat Energy and Projects team.
He has over 20 years’ experience advising on oil and gas projects through the full energy value chain across the MENA and Caspian regions, including exploration and production, processing, transportation, gas sales, LNG and shipping.
Andrew is particularly noted for his in-house experience having previously held legal managerial positions at BP and Oman Shipping Company before joining Dentons.
Andrew was BP Oman’s Legal Manager on the early phase of the US$16 billion Khazzan unconventional gas project; and was previously the lead lawyer for BP’s US$10 billion cross-border Shah Deniz and SCP pipeline gas project in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. In Oman since 2008, Andrew provides legal support to Oman’s construction and engineering sector, I(W)PPs, shipping and ports, project financing and regulatory restructuring in the energy, logistics and transport sector.
