Career

Domien is a Belgian qualified lawyer in the Dentons’ Brussels office and registered with the Brussels Bar. Having a keen interest in financial and corporate matters, Domien specializes in M&A, restructuring and cross-border finance transactions.

Domien regularly advises on the Belgian law aspects of (syndicated) lending matters and underlying securities acting for as well the lenders as borrowers’ side. Domien also has extensive experience with national and cross-border corporate transactions with a focus on private equity and distressed companies.

Prior to joining Dentons, Domien gained professional experience working at a bailiffs’ office in Brussels.

Domien graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he gained extensive knowledge of Economic, International and European law.
