Yong-Moon Kim is the leader of the Labor Group at Dentons Lee. As an expert in addressing labor and employment issues, Mr. Kim has served his clients on a range of matters involving individual employment relationships (e.g., classification as an employee, hiring, dismissal, disciplinary measures, HR orders, performance management, corporate restructuring, wages, severance pay, part-time employees, dispatched employees, other non-regular employees, protection of female workers’ rights, workplace discrimination, individual employees/employer relationships during M&A transactions) as well as collective labor relationships (e.g., establishment and operation of labor unions, collective bargaining, union activities, strikes, unfair labor practices, collective employees/employer relationships during M&A transactions, establishment and operation of labor committees), as well as occupational safety and health matters.

Mr. Kim has provided advice and representation in many civil, criminal and administrative litigation matters, in response to investigations by supervisory institutions, in connection with disputes against the labor committees and in other types of comparable disputes. He has also utilized his unique experience working as a legal specialist at the UN International Labor Organization to assist clients in disputes related to the Korea-EU Free Trade Agreement.
