For the past years, Ernesto has focused his practice on administrative, energy, real estate and corporate law, with a particular focus on projects involving the participation of the private sector in the development of infrastructure and services traditionally carried out by the public sector.

Ernesto advises clients on the structuring and implementation of Public Private Partnerships in their different modalities, advising both public sector and private sector participants. He has had the opportunity to participate in projects of great importance due to their complexity, innovation and social content, acquiring vast experience in the entire procedure surrounding these projects, including defining the most adequate structure for the project’s particular nature, advising throughout bidding procedures for the awarding of contracts, concessions, licences and permits, the drafting and negotiation of the necessary legal documents for the financing of infrastructure projects, and providing ongoing legal counsel for projects already in operation.

Through his participation in the implementation of infrastructure projects, Ernesto has acquired vast experience regarding the financing of Public Private Partnerships, especially Projects for the Provision of Services (PPS).
