Paolo Grimaldi has vast experience in the conception, organisation and implementation of investment funds and financial products for asset managers (offshore and onshore structures), especially real estate, receivables, and private equity/venture capital funds, as well as securitization and corporate finance transactions. Led transactions involving the setup and registration with the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM) and the Brazilian capital and financial markets self-regulatory entity (ANBIMA) of Brazilian offices for asset managers, investment advisors and broker-dealers to operate. Set up regulatory and legal compliance manuals and policies for asset managers, including obligations, routines and best practices in anti-money laundering, “know your client”, suitability, trading, reporting, auditing, prevention of conflicts of interest. Conducted corporate restructuring processes.
