Career
Zahra Darvish, Ph.D. is an attorney at law licensed by the Iranian Central Bar Association (Tehran bar) in 2010 and active since then. She received her Ph.D. in the field of Oil and Gas Law from Shahid Beheshti University, and began cooperating with Hatami and Associates from 2014.
Since the onset of her cooperation, she has been actively engaged in a great number of contractual cases referred to the Firm, covering negotiation and drafting contracts and documents in various fields of national and international trade and investment, such as sales, distribution, agency, lease, franchise, licensing, joint ventures, and share purchase, oil and gas, and power plants, to name a few.
She also has extensive working experience with regard to Iran’s tender regulations and procedures for the public sector, the Iranian Buy-Back service contracts used in the oil and gas industry, conflict of laws, claim management, competition and antitrust, construction projects (esp. FIDIC, and Iran’s General Construction Conditions for the public sector), etc., and for several years has actively participated in Hatami & Associates core legal team advising Iran Mall Commercial Company and handling its negotiations with foreign brands.
In addition to her participation in consultancy and litigation cases referred to the Firm, She has in the past served as the legal head of Pasargad Oil Company, Hormoz Pasargad Bitumen Product Company, and Noor Medical Group Company in its domestic and foreign relations.
