Career

Mr. Lee has 11 years of experience in trade law, including 3 years with the WTO Appellate Body Secretariat, as well as with the WTO Rules Division where he assisted Members negotiate the recently concluded Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies. Mr. Lee was also recently selected by a provincial government to be a candidate for its roster of panellists for disputes arising under a trade focused instrument.

In his decade-long career in the field of international trade law, he has assisted clients in a wide range of trade issues from both private and institutional perspectives. As a member of Cassidy Levy Kent’s Ottawa team, Mr. Lee assists clients in the full spectrum of Canadian trade law, with an emphasis in matters related to trade remedies, customs, sanctions, and export-import controls.
