Juliana Vargas is associate of the Intellectual Property, Privacy & Technology team in Bogotá’s office. She has over 8 years of experience and has been part of the Firm since 2014.

Juliana focuses her practice advising clients in their Intellectual Property portfolio, as from their selection to its maintenance and strategic defense, regarding trademarks, slogans, copyrights, domain names and trade secrets, regulatory and entertainment matters in Colombia and abroad. Likewise, she assists clients particularly in drafting and negotiating agreements, licenses and assignments, labor and work for hire agreements related to Intellectual Property, advertising and right of publicity agreements, NDA’s, among others.

She has provided legal advice to clients in the strategic defense of their trademark and domain name portfolio against infringements by means of digital platforms, has provided assistance and coordination for the asset purchase related to musical catalogues, and has helped in transactions that involved intellectual property as movable assets.

Her client portfolio comprises national and multinational companies that include a wide range and variety of fast-moving consumer goods companies in the field of food and beverages, airlines and infrastructure, among others.
