Position
Rocío García de la Pastora is the leading partner of Guerrero Olivos’ labour, migration and employment practice. She specializes in labour law, complex labour litigation, collective bargaining, strategic labour plans and in corporate labour matters.
Career
Rocío is director of the Chilean Labour Law and Social Security SCHDTSS since 2010, member of the Industry Association of Labour Lawyers, fellow of the Bolonia University, dependent on the OIL and was Instructor in Litigation Techniques at the California Western School of Law and Accesso Training Program, and PhD candidate in the labour program of Universidad de Salamanca, Spain.
In the academic field, she is Professor of pre and post-graduate programs of Labour Law and Labour Litigation at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and was Assistant Professor in Labour Procedural Law at Universidad Central de Chile and Professor of Labour Law at Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello.
Her previous experience includes working in García de la Pastora y Cía. boutique labor law firm (2003-2017), as the Legal Coordination lawyer in the Regional Labour Office (2006-2007) and as labour counsel at the National Academy for Political and Strategic Studies, Defense Ministry (2007).
